Chi Sono / About Me

Dietro Lanana potete trovare una piccola donna con alle spalle tre grandi donne: due nonne e una mamma con la passione per i lavori femminili, ferri da calza e gomitoli di lana sparsi per casa, conseguenza: il lavoro a maglia non mi ha abbandonato dall'età di 6 anni.

Nasco a Firenze nel 1971 e ho studiato e lavorato fra moda, musica e spettacolo da l'età di 14 anni. Laureata in Arti Minori/Costume e Moda, ho gravitato per 12 anni nel mondo della moda occupandomi di servizi fotografici e sfilate.

Un'occasione particolare mi ha fatto decidere di seguire la mia più grande passione, la maglieria: dare vita e forma con i filati, non solo a ciò che può essere indossato, ma anche ad oggetti ed altre forme d'arte come la creazione di quadri.

A tutt'oggi gravitando nel circuito musicale/teatrale, ho avuto più di un'occasione per realizzare costumi e trucchi di scena.

Il mio prodotto è interamente ed esclusivamente italiano e fatto a mano: ferri, uncinetto, ago, qualsiasi tipo di filato e, soprattutto, le mie mani e la mia creatività.
Un prodotto che cerca di rivisitare la moda dal medio evo ad oggi, in tutte le sue forme e colori, nella collezione si possono trovare capi ed accessori che, pur con la loro semplicità, possono dare un tocco di eleganza e di alternativa al proprio stile.

Behind Lanana you will find a “small woman” with three great women behind her: two grandmothers and a mother with a passion for women's work, knitting needles and balls of wool scattered around the house, the result: knitting has be present since I was 6 and never left me.

I was born in Florence in 1971 and I studied and worked in fashion, music and entertainment since the age of 14. Graduated in “Minor Arts / Costume and Fashion” I’ve been present in the fashion industry for 12 years, dealing with fashion shows and photo shoots .

A specific time of my life made me decide to follow my greatest passion, Knitwear: Giving life and shape with yarns, not only to what can be worn, but also to objects and other forms of art such as the creation of paintings entirely made of yarn or wool.

Still present in the music and theatre circuit, I work creating costumes and stage make-up.

My products are entirely and exclusively Italian and handmade: needles, crochet hook any type of yarn and, above all, my hands and my creativity.
A product that tries to revisit fashion from the Middle Ages to today, in all its shapes and colors. The collection provide you also with garments and accessories that, despite their simplicity, can give a touch of elegance and an alternative to your style.
